QPR target Luke Campbell is poised for a move to Nottingham Forest from Chelsea, according to The Mirror (live transfer blog, 02.07.25, 17.29).
QPR have made an approach for the goalkeeper this summer, as per The Mirror. They are preparing for another year in the Championship.

Campbell, 19, is out of contract at Chelsea now. He has been weighing up his next move in the game over recent times.
In this latest update regarding his situation by The Mirror, Nottingham Forest are set to snap him up. The Reds are said to have hijacked Crystal Palace’s move for the player.
QPR have turned to Julien Stephan as their manager recently to replace Marti Cifuentes. The Frenchman has told their website: “I feel very proud and excited to join QPR. QPR is a historic club with strong values and passionate fans, so I feel honoured.

QPR could have identified Campbell as someone to boost their goalkeeping department. Paul Nardi is currently their number one, with Joe Walsh and Nathan Shepperd providing cover.

The teenager has been on the books at Chelsea for his whole career to date. He has risen up through their academy ranks and has been a regular at various different youth levels.
Campbell has featured for the Blues’ U18s and U21s over recent times but didn’t play a first-team game for the Premier League giants. He was loaned out to Hendon in non-league in the last campaign to get some experience under his belt.
What now for QPR target Luke Campbell?
QPR will have to look elsewhere for goalkeeping reinforcements with it looking like Campbell is heading to Nottingham Forest, despite Crystal Palace’s interest. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are in the Europa League next term.

The Hoops finished mid-table in the last campaign under Cifuentes and will be aiming to finish higher next time around under Stephan. They have the chance to bring in some new faces over the next couple of months and also have the opportunity to let some players leave if they wish to.
