Man Utd fans left deeply frustrated after Red Devils’latest news for 2025/26 season,‘clearly this is the priority…’

Manchester United fans pulled no punches towards the Red Devils after the timing of the Premier League club’s latest news announcement for the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils ended the 2024-25 campaign in 15th place in the Premier League table, which was the club’s worst finish since the league’s inception in 1992.

Ruben Amorim was unable to turn around the dwindling form of Manchester United in the Premier League after he left Sporting CP and arrived at the club in 2024.

Erik ten Hag’s reign as United manager ended with his sacking last October after the Red Devils’ form in the Premier League fell off a cliff under him last season.

Ruben Amorim now has the opportunity to complete his first full pre-season tour with the United first-team squad ahead of the 2025-26 campaign at Old Trafford.

United will embark on their pre-season campaign in Europe and the United States in July and August before facing Arsenal on the opening Premier League weekend.

Man Utd fans are deeply annoyed with the Red Devils’ matchday packages for the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford

Manchester United on Tuesday announced that a “variety of matchday hospitality packages” were now available for the 2025-26 season under Ruben Amorim.

But United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, could not hold back their frustrations over the timing of the news amid the summer window.

One Red Devils supporter suggested that the news was “clearly” the “priority” for the club in the window, while others wanted to see more signings announced first.

“Care more about hospitality packages than real seats for real fans,” an X user suggested.

Someone else asked: “Struggling to sell them?”

A third United fan wrote: “Clearly this is the priority in a transfer window.”

While a fourth argued: “Secure a few more signings, then maybe people will secure their seats.”

“To watch another horrible season? No thanks,” another posted.

And a sixth tweeted: “Have never [seen] Man United beg fans to secure their season seats like this before.”

A seventh Red Devils supporter asked: “Can we ‘secure’ a signing instead?”

Somebody else claimed: “You guys [Manchester United] are not serious. What really is enticing about next season? Get Amorim some quality players and stop stirring emotions.”

Man Utd fans’ reaction to the matchday hospitality packages for the 2025-26 season speaks volumes about the transfer window

The Red Devils sent a statement of intent early in the summer transfer window after United signed Matheus Cunha from Premier League side Wolves in June.

Matheus Cunha was a key target for United this summer and the Red Devils activated the £62.5m release clause for the 26-year-old Brazil international.

However, the Red Devils’ transfer activity has since slowed down and Amorim is still waiting for the arrival of new signings as part of his major squad overhaul.

Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo has been linked with United, but the Premier League club are still pursuing the 25-year-old French-born winger this summer.
