Liverpool’s Diogo Jota dies with brother in tragic Spain car accident

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, 28, and his 26-year-old brother Andre died in a car accident in Spain.

Spanish authorities reported that their Lamborghini left the road and caught fire after a tyre blew out while overtaking another vehicle.

Jota, who recently married, was a key player for Liverpool, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup during his five-year spell.

He also made 49 appearances for Portugal's national team, who, along with Liverpool FC and Porto FC, expressed devastation at his passing.

Tributes have poured in from numerous former players, clubs, and sporting figures, including Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
