Jota will be missed in the Premier League

Jota began his career at Pacos de Ferreira before moving to Porto in 2016 after signing for Atletico Madrid, and he caught the attention of English clubs.

Wolves subsequently got the 28-year-old on loan in 2017 before signing him permanently, and his heroics in front of goal helped them win promotion from the Championship.

After some impressive seasons at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League, Liverpool decided to sign the Portuguese forward.

Over the years, Jota consistently found the back of the net, and found the back of the net in the latest Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield on 2 April in the 1-0 win.

The Portugal international recently lifted the Nations League trophy with his nation after beating Spain in the final on penalties.

During the 28-year-old’s time at Anfield, he won two Carabao Cups, one FA Cup and lifted the Premier League title.

In Jota’s four years at Anfield, he made 182 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 65 goals and providing 26 assists.

The English top flight have lost a valuable professional in the Portuguese national, and the Blues fans will keep rivalries aside in remembrance of the forward.
