The 49ers will be looking to make up for their failure on missing out on Habib Diarra for Leeds United.
It was disappointing to see Diarra sign for Sunderland, but Leeds also might not be too bothered with the transfer window still providing plenty of time.
A player of Diarra’s quality would have come in handy though, but Leeds were never matching a £30m bid.
Nevertheless, the time is for the 49ers to move on at Leeds, as other targets need to be explored.
With this considered, the Whites now have the chance to land an attacking outlet for over half the price of Diarra’s move.

Leeds United find out price tag of Juventus’ Timothy Weah
Not quite the same position as Diarra. but Timothy Weah is proving to be an exciting versatile right-winger on Leeds’ radar.
It’s said that Leeds will battle clubs for Weah as the USA international could be sold by Juventus this summer.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
The 25-year-old who is son of famous former striker, George, is looking to be the perfect option for Daniel Farke, with his ability to occupy that right flank to a tee, playing on the wing but also having strengths as an attacking full-back.
It’s looking like the 49ers are going sensibly in terms of landing cheap deals this summer after Sebastiaan Bornauw’s £5m arrival.
Once again, Leeds can do the same, as L’Equipe are reporting that it would only take £13m for Weah to leave the Italian giants this window.

Neymar has high praise for Leeds target Timothy Weah
After improving defensively, surely Farke will demand that the owners look to improve their attacking exploits.
A creative mind is needed in the midfield still, as Gustavo Hamer wants the Premier League, with the Dutchman no doubt making for an excellent addition.
Adding to this, a striker is needed, and after Leeds missed out on Tammy Abraham, attention will be turned elsewhere.
But considering Weah, his threat from the wing could replace Manor Solomon, even though Solomon could still join Leeds.
Well, someone who was once the most threatening winger in the world is Neymar, and his praise on Weah in 2019 could prove Leeds are landing a gem.
Neymar said to Fox: “From what I’ve seen of his talent, he has everything to go and become one of the top attacking players in Europe.”
For £13m it seems an absolute steal, and Farke and the 49ers can go full steam ahead for the 25-year-old.
