Max Wober finally looks set to complete a move away from Leeds United.
The Austria international played a bit-part role last campaign, and as a result, a departure makes complete sense before the new season.
This is especially the case after the Whites brought in both Jaja Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw at this early stage of the summer window.
It now appears as if paperwork has been completed ahead of a move away from Elland Road, as reports of frustration have now emerged.

It makes total sense for the LS11 club to get rid of the 27-year-old for whatever sort of fee they can get at some point this summer.

With the likes of Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu and Pascal Struijk in the squad, chances are always going to be at a premium for the defender.
As a result, the Austrian is likely to be delighted to learn of a potential return to the Bundesliga, this time with Werder Bremen.
German outlet BILD Bremen have reported (3 July, page 12) that an exit deal for Wober at Leeds United is expected in the coming days as work continues to be done on paperwork.
Now, medical tests also await before a move will be completed, something which Daniel Farke is likely to be happy with at Elland Road.
The German head coach was said to be “angry” with the defender for leaving Yorkshire on loan after relegation was confirmed from the Premier League [Peter Linden, 2 July].

It is fair to say that a fractious relationship between the Whites’ head coach and the Austrian could point towards reasoning behind a general lack of minutes.
Last season, the ex-Ajax man was utilised very few times, with his only starts coming as a makeshift left-back in place of the injured Junior Firpo.
