Selling Coady is undoubtedly the right decision (for once, in these awkward contemporary times) from the LCFC board. The once Wolverhampton Wanderers player was just out of sorts as the rest of the terrible 2024/25 City defence.
Though his wages are what make him an ideal candidate to sell. But that is not all: Coady is simply no longer quick or good enough of mind or body to start in the English top flight. He is tipped to sign for Rangers north of the border.
