Fulham midfielder Matt Dibley-Dias has [signed for League Two Chesterfield](https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2025/july/03/chesterfield-loan-for-dibley-dias/) on a season-long loan.

[The 2023 Johnny Haynes Trophy award winner](https://www.fulhamsupporterstrust.com/news/2023/09/dibley-dias-wins-johnny-haynes-trophy/) had a taste of senior football last season, making eight first-team appearances in a frustrating loan spell with Northampton Town. The talented midfielder was selected for the New Zealand senior squad in October 2023 only to have to withdraw through injury. Dibley-Dias, who captained Hayden Mullins’ side in the PL2 last year, is the third Fulham player to spend time with the Spireites over the past two seasons following in the footsteps of his under-21s team-mates Devan Tanton and Harvey Araujo. He could feature as Paul Cook’s side begin their pre-season programme at Matlock Town on Saturday.

Dibley-Dias, who was named as one of Marco Silva’s substitutes in the 5-3 win over Leicester City in May 2023, has made 60 appearances for Fulham’s under-21s and scored five goals. The 21 year-old, who was born in Lower Hutt on north island of New Zealand, moved to Motspur Park after Brentford shut their academy in 2016 and has been one of the most consistent performers in the Whites’ youth teams, helping the under-18s win the Premier League South title in 2020, the under-23s win promotion in 2021 and the under-21s lift the Premier League Cup in 2024.
