Will we see Chris Paul in the NBA next season, and if so, where will he play?
Paul says he isn’t ready to retire and has more fight in him.
He has so much fight, in fact, that he wants to remain a starter in his 21st season.
That is according to Tim Reynolds, who said Paul hasn’t determined which team he wishes to play for but knows that he wants to be in the starting five.
The Los Angeles Clippers are apparently hopeful that he picks them.
Chris Paul wants to be a starter, we're told, which is part of the reason why he evidently hasn't made up his mind yet. Clippers still very hopeful he picks them.

After 20 seasons, Paul’s average sits at 17.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 9.2 assists on 47.0 percent from the field and 37.0 percent from the three-point line.
Last season, he put up 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists for the San Antonio Spurs, but it sounds like he will be on the move again.
Previous reports said that he wants to play closer to home in Los Angeles, so the Clippers would make a lot of sense for the 40-year-old guard.
But will they give him the starting role that he covets so much?
That is a lot to ask of a team when you’re 40, but Paul has earned his reputation and respect and is still playing well at his age.
In fact, he suited up for all 82 games last season, a stunning achievement.
If the Clippers aren’t able to entice him, Paul could go to a few other teams.
He would be a relatively inexpensive contract and could produce a lot, but he does have his demands.
Will they be met, and will he be a starter next season, or will Paul have to alter his expectations?
