Man Utd-linked attacker's release clause has become active with hidden little twist, Ruben Amorim now has his answer –…

Manchester United and Ruben Amorim should now know their transfer position over one striker who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim is expected to bring in a new striker to Old Trafford ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign with Manchester United.

The Premier League club have been linked with different strikers this summer, including Sporting CP ace Viktor Gyokeres and Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

Amorim witnessed first-hand the Red Devils struggle in the final third in the 2024-25 Premier League season, with United finishing the campaign in 15th place.

Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failed to make a mark leading the frontline and United lacked a ruthless finisher amid their disappointing Premier League season.

Amorim is expected to have an early clearout of his United first-team squad this summer, with struggling striker Rasmus Hojlund linked with Inter Milan.

Moise Kean has now seen his release clause become active amid Man Utd being linked with the Fiorentina striker

Moise Kean has been linked with Manchester United in the past and there have been rumblings that the Red Devils could consider a move for the Italy international.

The 25-year-old Fiorentina striker has been with the Serie A club since last summer, with Moise Kean’s second spell with Juventus coming to an end in 2024.

Fiorentina paid an initial fee of €13m for Kean, which could rise to €18m with add-ons, and the former Juventus star impressed with the Italian club last season.

Kean made 44 appearances in his debut season with Fiorentina and the Italy striker netted 25 times and registered three assists across all competitions for his side.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Everton player is under contract with Fiorentina until 2029, but Kean does have a release clause in his current deal with the club.

Kean’s release clause became active on 1st July and is set at £44m (€52m), which is only available until 15th July amid suggestions that United are interested in him.

The hidden detail in Moise Kean’s release clause at Fiorentina should send a clear message to Ruben Amorim and Man Utd

Football Italia reports that there is a standout detail within Moise Kean’s release clause, which should paint a clear picture for United over the striker.

The publication reports that a potential suitor would have to pay Fiorentina the release clause in full if they want to sign United-linked Kean this summer.

United would not have the option to break the fee up into instalments and the Red Devils are already trying to manage their financial problems at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils could offload players and free up their wages, but the need to pay the release clause in its entirety immediately could be an obstacle for United.

That is also not to mention that Football Italia pointed out that a club would have to convince Kean to leave Fiorentina in the first place after his impressive season.

Amorim should know the best decision is for United to walk away from a long-drawn-out process of trying to sign Kean and explore other options on the market.
