Manchester United have found it as difficult as expected this summer, when it comes to disposing of unwanted stars.
The likes of Antony, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund are all known to be on the ‘unwanted list’, as the Red Devils look to free up funds.
Funds which are very much needed in order to avoid financial troubles.

Especially after recently missing out on Champions League football.
Antony remains linked with Real Betis, where he thrived last season on loan picking up 14 goal contributions in 26 games.
Betis’ club president recently spoke on their plans to sign the Brazilian.
A task which is becoming increasingly complex by the day.
Another winger who is also facing interest is Jadon Sancho.
Juventus remain in talks to sign the Englishman, with Sancho open to the move.

Now, Borussia Dortmund are considering bringing the 25-year-old back to Germany, according to The Daily Mail’s report.
Dortmund, who sold Sancho to United for £73 million in 2021 and took him back on loan following his fall-out with Erik ten Hag, see him as a potential replacement for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who has joined Chelsea.
Sancho managed to find form back in Germany last time out, where he recorded four goal contributions in 14 Bundesliga games in 2023/24.
The winger’s loan spell at Chelsea last season ended without a permanent move, with the Blues opting to pay a £5 million penalty to cancel the purchase obligation.
That outcome followed failed talks over personal terms between Chelsea and Sancho, emphasising the problems United face in shifting high earners.
Sancho remains on a £275,000-per-week wage, which has proven a major stumbling block in talks with other interested clubs.
