Leeds are active in the transfer market, and are keen to make further additions to their squad in the coming weeks.

Sebastiaan Bornauw has joined Jaka Bijol as new centre-backs for the Whites, but reinforcements will be necessary across the pitch.

Leeds could now target players in more attacking positions, and the midfield will also need strengthening, while younger talents could also be signed.

They have now been linked with eye-catching teenage sensation Kees Smit, but they will have to move quickly to secure a deal.

Leeds will need to move quickly to sign Smit

Given the interest in the teenager, Leeds will need to move quickly if they are to sign Smit this summer, but he could be keen on a move to England.

While he is unlikely to start for some of the European clubs interested in him, the midfielder could earn a regular role at Elland Road next season.

Daniel Farke may be keen to add more experience to his squad, and with Harry Gray’s signing a new deal, signing a top young talent in Smit to play alongside him could help build for the future.

The midfielder has scored two senior goals, and has played as both a defensive midfielder as well as further forward.

Leeds will need at least one midfielder this summer, as well as attacking reinforcements both on the wing and a central striker.
