Former NFL head coach Jon Gruden has officially joined the AEW fandom.
Gruden recently received a special All Elite crate filled with AEW merchandise, including a custom AEW World Championship belt, a pair of Young Bucks sneakers, a zip-up hoodie, and more exclusive gear.
Clearly fired up about the gift, Gruden gave a shoutout to several AEW stars, name-dropping the likes of Jon Moxley, MJF, Kenny Omega, Mercedes Mone, and Toni Storm as part of his enthusiastic reaction.
This box may have the greatest gift I've ever received inside and it comes from Tony Khan and @AEW!
I'm a big wrestling fan, and what they're doing over at AEW is pretty amazing!
If you like wrestling, you gotta check this stuff out… but you'll have to beat me for my belt! pic.twitter.com/VmlHJwvCSi

Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi made his long-anticipated return to AEW television last month on Collision, engaging in a heated brawl with longtime rival Kazuchika Okada. However, his comeback didn’t sit well with everyone.
Speaking on a recent episode of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, AAA booker Konnan criticized AEW’s handling of Ibushi’s return, pointing out the lack of an immediate reunion with Kenny Omega. He said,
“His story is with Omega, bottom line. He should’ve come back when Omega was in danger. That would’ve been the perfect moment. They missed a golden opportunity with the Golden Lovers.”
That reunion finally happened on AEW Dynamite 300. In the main event, Okada defeated Ibushi before the Don Callis Family’s Lance Archer and Rocky Romero launched a post-match attack. Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance, storming the ring to save his former tag partner. After fending off the attackers, Omega and Ibushi shared a heartfelt embrace to close the show.
Looking ahead, Omega is now set to face Kazuchika Okada in a high-stakes Winner Takes All Unification Match at AEW All In: Texas. The bout will determine the first-ever AEW Unified Champion, merging the Continental and International Titles. The event takes place Saturday, July 12, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, and will air live on pay-per-view.
