Jean-Clair Todibo endured a difficult campaign at West Ham last season.
The French defender featured 27 times for the Hammers as they limped to a 14th-place finish in the Premier League.
His loan deal turned into a permanent London Stadium stay at the end of the campaign due to a £34.2million obligation to buy.
The former Barcelona star was reportedly seeking an Irons exit in the winter transfer window, and it remains to be seen whether he stays in east London this summer.

The 25-year-old took to Instagram (3 July) to share some holiday snaps, with the caption: “L.A. pt.2.”
The post was liked by his Hammers teammates Konstantinos Mavropanos, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Edson Alvarez.
Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate, Arsenal ace William Saliba and Brentford attacker Bryan Mbuemo also liked it.
Tobido needs a great season for West Ham
Todibo needs to prove to Graham Potter that he is worthy of a place in his starting line-up next season.
The 50-year-old may not have signed the ex-Nice player if it were not for the clause that was already in his contract before he arrived.
The East London outfit has been linked with defensive recruits, such as Taylor Harwood-Bellis and England Under-21 star Charlie Cresswell.
Therefore, the Frenchman’s place in the team is far from guaranteed next season; he needs a strong campaign to show that he is worth the money that the E20 club spent on his services.
The pressure is on for Todibo to succeed; otherwise, he may go down as just another failure for the Hammers in the transfer window.
The Irons also need a new goalkeeper, with the likes of Djordje Petrovic and Mads Hermansen linked, and Todibo could look stronger with a better player than Alphonse Areola between the sticks.
They must avoid the mistakes of the past, of which Todibo is very much looking like another, if they are to progress and be towards the top of the Premier League table once again.
