Breaking: Donald Trump Has “Option” To Help Key NFL Team In Unprecedented Report

Donald Trump and the NFL seem to be synonymous with one another. Since the 47th President took over, he has made numerous appearances at big-time sporting events, including Super Bowl 59.

However, now the President of the United States has the option to help one key NFL team.

One NFL team may seek the assistance of Donald Trump, as reports indicate the team may approach him for help:

The Washington Commanders are in the big time again following their decision to draft Jayden Daniels, but they won’t stop there. The team is also keen on relocating, with a return to their old home – the site of the RFK Stadium – the intention.

It appears the move is far from guaranteed at the moment, as politicians in D.C. are unsure if a deal will be reached this year.

Mayor Muriel Bowser admitted that he is concerned about the deal possibly not going through.

“And at the end of the day, I think everybody wants the same thing. I would put my level of concern – because when you’re a big city mayor, you’re concerned about everything – I’ll put it at a four,” he said this week, per USA Today.

FOX 5 has reported that the Commanders held a dinner for members of the D.C. Council to discuss the potential return. However, if they cannot reach an agreement that would see them head back to the RFK site by 2030, they could ask Trump to intervene.

The Commanders’ new ownership still has big plans for the team following what has been, up to this point, a very successful takeover.

Management wants to open new doors to supporters by fall 2030 and is looking to invest $2.7 billion, while they’re hoping for $1 billion from D.C.

The deal seeks to transform the RFK campus into an entertainment district offering housing, recreation, and retail in what Bowser says will be a “defining moment” for the city.

As for the new stadium, the plan is to construct a cutting-edge, roofed venue boasting a 65,000-seat capacity.

As to whether the Commanders play their trump card remains to be seen.
