Kevin Durant headlining record NBA trade

The trade that is sending Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets has turned out to be much bigger than originally anticipated.

The trade of Durant to Houston will involve seven NBA teams in total, which is a record. The teams involved in the deal include the: Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns.

Durant going to the Rockets is the centerpiece of the deal, with Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green going back to Phoenix in return completes things. Most of the rest of the trade is of a minor variety in relation to KD being traded. According to Jake Fisher, the trade has been agreed to in principle.

While we sift through the Jonas Valanciunas developments in Denver, the NBA-record seven-team trade that will send Kevin Durant to Houston has been fully agreed to in principle, sources say.
