It is time for the young guns – and the old names – to prove themselves they belong to the big league. The Milwaukee Bucks announced their roster for the 2025 Summer League, featuring the rookies picked in the recent draft and some few veterans still trying to earn pro spots.
Tyler Smith

Most notable name in the squad are five players who were part of the team last year. Jamaree Bouyea, Andre Jackson Jr., Pete Nance, Tyler Smith, Chris Livingston who just a day ago was released by the team. From this five, only AJJ and Tyler Smith are assured to be seen in the regular season.
Also in the line up are rookies Bogoljub Marković who was picked 47th by the team and Mark Sears from Alabama Crimson Tide who went undrafted but was signed a few hours ago by the Bucks to a two-way contract.

Other rookies hoping to use the Bucks as a gateway to the big league are undrafted neophytes like Marquette Golden Eagles’ David Joplin and Louisville Cardinals’ shooting guard Terrence Edwards Jr.
Milwaukee Bucks include 6-year NBA veteran
Another striking name in the team’s Summer League roster is Keita Bates-Diop who has already played 283 games in the NBA through five teams.
The 29-year-old veteram was drafted 48th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2018 and had his best year in 2022-2023 season when he played 67 games for the San Antonio Spurs. He was out of the league for just one year.

The Bucks will play four games and will be coached by assistant coaches/player development Jason Love and Spencer Rivers for two games each.
First game will be against the Denver Nuggets on July 10, followed by the one against the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 12.
The other two games are against the Los Angeles Clippers and the Chicago Bulls.
