Burnley have announced the signing of Loum Tchaouma from Serie A side Lazio.
He joins the Lancashire club for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £13 million.
The 21-year-old French Under-21 international joined the Rennes academy in 2020. He spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Ligue 2 side Dijon, where he made nearly 30 appearances.
He then moved to Salernitana, with whom he was unable to avoid relegation. In 2024, he joined Lazio, making 24 appearances and scoring once. He also featured recently at the Under-21 European Championship.
Tchaouma spoke on the signing: “It’s a very proud day for me to sign for this special club.”
“I spoke with the manager during the Euros this summer and we had a really good conversation, which made me realise I wanted to be here.
“I can’t wait to get ready for the upcoming season and to play in front of the supporters.”
He joins the newly promoted side on a five-year deal.
