Antony is one of the few Manchester United players looking for a new football club this summer.
It shouldn’t be a difficult task for Antony to find a new club after impressing on loan at Real Betis last season. The Brazilian winger joined the La Liga outfit in January before resurrecting his career with multiple strong performances.
Antony made 26 appearances for Real Betis, scoring nine goals and registering five assists, as the Spanish side reached the Europa Conference League final against Chelsea. Betis were unsuccessful in their attempts to beat Chelsea, but Antony’s loan will still be considered a success.
Manchester United have since moved on from Antony and other players who are not part of Ruben Amorim’s plans for the future by signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million.
The Red Devils then quickly turned their attention to Bryan Mbeumo, but talks with Brentford have been ongoing for a month as Ineos prepare a third bid for the Cameroon international.
Beyond that, Ineos are hoping to sell Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho before the new season begins.

Real Betis remain optimistic about Antony deal
It has been a month since Real Betis officials travelled to England to hold talks with United over a deal for Antony.
The winger impressed during his time in Spain and many were led to believe that Real Betis wanted to keep Antony for another season.

However, financially, that would prove problematic as Antony has a huge salary at Old Trafford.
Real Betis president Angel Haro insists they won’t “go crazy” to sign the United player again, and that the 25-year-old must lower his salary to secure a return to the club.
Antony made it no secret that he enjoyed his time at Real Betis and ABC Sevilla believes he has given the nod to the Andalusian club as his future still needs to be clarified. The winger is expected to return to Carrington for pre-season training with United next week.
ABC Sevilla state Antony is willing to adjust his salary to make it easier for Betis to negotiate a deal to sign him and he is waiting for the club to find an agreement with United, albeit for a loan deal.
It is understood that Betis are ‘confident United will eventually give in’, with Antony joining Betis on loan for a second consecutive season. That is not the deal Ineos would have hoped for earlier this year.
Friday’s edition of AS (cited by Sport Witness) claims Betis intend to make Antony their big signing of the summer after securing Europa League football for next season. Patience is required as the operation moves ‘slowly’, with Betis adamant they want him back at the club.
Jadon Sancho holds ‘positive’ talks with Juventus
One player on his way out of United this summer is Sancho.
The winger spent last season on loan at Chelsea, but failed to do enough to secure a permanent move to Stamford Bridge.
Juventus held positive talks with the United outcast who moved to Old Trafford in a £73 million deal in 2021.
Sancho, who only scored nine league goals for United, hasn’t played for the Red Devils since his public spat with Erik ten Hag, where he called the Dutchman a liar.
The England international was sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund last year before being exiled to Chelsea last season.
It doesn’t look like Sancho has a future under Ruben Amorim either.
At least with Juventus interested in Sancho, United could see some movement soon.
