AX Armani Exchange Milano (Serie A) strengthened their roster with the addition of 22-year-old British international 195cm guard Quinn Ellis for the 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player on the team, with Serbian Marko Guduric signing earlier. Ellis most recently played for Dolomiti Energia Trentino in the Serie A, where he averaged 10.3ppg, 4.4rpg, and 5.1apg in 32 games last season, helping them win the cup. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian League Honorable Mention and All-Bosmans Team. Ellis also played 16 games in the Eurocup, averaging 7.9ppg, 3.6rpg, and 4.4apg. In the previous (2024) summer, he played for the Trail Blazers in the U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League.
Ellis has been a member of the British international program for some years. He has regularly played for the British senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 16 National Team in 2019.
Ellis also represented the United Kingdom at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 9 ppg and had 2.3 rpg.
He has played previously in Italy (Orlandina, Monferrato, and Orlandina Lab) and the United Kingdom (BA Lions).
