“Sped up” | ExWHUEmployee | Hammers seek new goalkeeper

**West Ham are soon to ramp up our pursuit of a new goalkeeper this summer, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**

As the club continue to work on both offloading players and brining in new faces as part of Graham Potters vision for the side next season, one area that has question marks is that of a the goalkeeper position.

Following the release of veteran Lucasz Fabianski, many have wondered whether Potter would stick with keeping Areola as the clubs number one for that position, or whether there would be a desire to bring in a new goalkeeper to compete with the Frenchman for the spot between the posts.

As has been reported exclusively previously by our club insider ExWHUEmployee, it appears that Potter has identified Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen as a top target, with it now understood that the pursuit of the player will ramp up once the coach positions are confirmed.

“A goalkeeper is still a priority, and once more another name we exclusively revealed is Danish keeper Mads Hermansen from Leicester a kay target,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“The keeper signing could be spend up when confirmation is given to the new goalkeeper coaches with Linus Kandolin of Elfsborg and Casper Ankergren who is thought to be coming from Brondby soon.

“They may then prioritise Hermansen as their keeper choice it seems. Other options include Sanchez of Chelsea and a possible loan deal from Aaron Ramsdale. Former goalkeeper coach Xavi Valero has joined Liverpool in a similar role.”

In other transfer news, it appears that West Ham are hopeful of making significant progress with a potential deal to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague.

Ex has advised that personal terms are not thought to be an issue, as the clubs edge closer to an agreement on the package to bring the highly-rated Senegal international to east London this summer.
