Millwall announce behind-closed-doors friendly against Crystal Palace

MILLWALL have announced they will face Crystal Palace in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Saturday, July 12, with the match kicking off at midday.

The game will be streamed on Millwall TV, with fans able to watch the match by purchasing a Match Pass. Further streaming information will be released in due course.

The Lions last met Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Fifth Round last season, losing 3-1 at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles went on to win the competition, their first ever major trophy, and finished twelfth in the Premier League.

The fixture will be Millwall’s first of pre-season, with Alex Neil and the squad heading to Murcia, Spain, shortly afterwards for a week-long training camp.

There, they will face Northampton Town on Tuesday, July 15 (kick-off 7pm), before taking on a team to be confirmed on Friday, July 18. The kick-off time for that match is yet to be announced. Both games will take place at the Pinatar Arena.

The Lions will then return to England to complete their pre-season schedule with three away fixtures: AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, July 22 (kick-off 7.30pm), Bromley on Saturday, July 26 (kick-off 3pm), and Sutton United on Tuesday, July 29 (kick-off 7.45pm).
