Sky Sports: Man Utd hold 'positive' talks to sell 'world-class' star, foreign club now pushing

Manchester United have held positive talks with Juventus over a deal for Jadon Sancho, Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has revealed.

The Serie A club are believed to be pushing to sign the 'world-class' England international this summer, and there appears to be a willingness from all parties to get the deal done.

Sancho has no future at Man United under Ruben Amorim and is expected to depart in the coming weeks, although it remains to be seen whether the move will be a loan or a permanent transfer.

While United’s preference is to agree a permanent deal, with the asking price reported to be in the region of £25m, Sancho’s hefty wages could prove to be a stumbling block.

According to Sheth, another loan move for Sancho cannot be ruled out, given that clubs may be put off by his significant wage demands, despite him having one year left on his deal at Old Trafford.

Sancho is understood to be open to a move to Juventus after failing to agree terms with Chelsea following a loan spell at Stamford Bridge last season.

The Serie A club are said to be in positive discussions regarding a deal, but there is still work to be done, with agreements on both the fee and personal terms yet to be reached.

Juventus are in the market for a new winger after failing to find an agreement with Porto over Francisco Conceicao’s permanent arrival.

Man United are hoping to offload several unwanted stars to boost their summer spree, with the likes of Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony all available for sale.

The quartet have no future under Amorim and are likely to play football elsewhere next season, with Garnacho also attracting interest from Serie A clubs.
