It is expected to be a busy summer in the transfer market for Manchester United but progress, both in terms of incomings and outgoings, has been pretty slow so far.
first team players will return to pre-season training on Monday, July 7, as they begin their preparations for the 2025/26 season.
They will have 12 days to get back into the swing of things before their first pre-season friendly against Leeds United in Stockholm on Saturday, July 19.
New signing should be among the players returning to training next week but it will be interesting to see how United manage the players they are keen to offload this summer.

Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Marcus Rashford are returning from their respective loan spells away from the club.
All four players are free to leave United this summer and they will be keen to bring in some transfer revenue for them and find them new permanent homes.
The same goes for Alejandro Garnacho, who has been told he can leave United this summer for the right price.
How Ruben Amorim deals with them should offer a clue as to how close a potential departure is and whether they have any future at the club at all, should a move away from Old Trafford fail to materialise this summer.
claims Rashford, for example, is preparing to train with the first team as usual as he continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
United want £40million for Rashford, they need to sell Antony for £32.5million to avoid a PSR loss and would have seen for negotiations over Garnacho.
Amorim must decide whether to keep those players training away from the first team if they have no future at the club, or whether to keep them among the first team group during the summer.
With a pre-season tour to the USA to follow United's friendly in Stockholm, it may well be the case that some, if not all, of those players are involved to put them in the shop window.
Which path Amorim chooses to go down will be very interesting.
