Rasmus Hojlund with Sam Mulroy in the Algarve
Louth GAA's ace forward Sam Mulroy has been spotted mingling with footballing royalty, snagging a photo with Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund. Fresh from securing Louth's first Leinster title in nearly seven decades, Mulroy took to social media to show he's back to the grindstone, despite his team's season coming to a close.
As the club championship looms, Mulroy seems to have jetted off for a well-earned break to the Algarve's sunny climes, yet he's dedicated time to train at The Campus Sports Complex during his holiday.
The Campus, nestled in Quinta Da Lago, is famed across Europe as a top-tier sports facility and is a go-to for elite athletes and squads, including Ireland's Rugby team.
Mulroy posted footage of his rigorous speed training sessions but also found himself at the complex concurrently with Hojlund, as the Man United forward gears up for the new Premier League campaign.

Taking to Instagram, Mulroy shared a picture alongside Hojlund, captioning it: "Trying to keep up with the big man."
Despite an earlier-than-hoped end to his football season, Mulroy can take pride in his contribution to breaking Louth's 68-year Leinster drought. He was nominated for an All-Star in 2024.
It's a time of change and promise in Louth, with a surge of young talent coming through the ranks. However, with senior manager Ger Brennan recently stepping down, speculation is rife that he may be set to take over the Dublin managerial position.

Hojlund is looking forward to a fresh start in the new season. The Danish international has had a challenging two years at Old Trafford, netting only four league goals last season in 32 appearances.
Speculation continues to swirl around the 22 year old, who has been rumoured to be considering a move away from the club and could potentially return to Italy this summer, following Manchester United's investment in Matheus Cunha and ongoing links with Bryan Mbeumo.
