Jordan Henderson has paid an emotional tribute to his former Liverpool teammate Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday along with his brother Andre.
Henderson, visibly upset, visited Anfield on Friday, carrying a bouquet of flowers and a team scarf.
He laid the items outside the stadium and left a note that read: "Rest in peace my friend, along with your brother Andre. We will all miss you."
Jota played alongside Henderson at Merseyside for three seasons following his arrival at Liverpool in 2020.
