Manchester United have confirmed that Matheus Cunha is the club's new No. 10, replacing wantaway forward Marcus Rashford. The Red Devils have also revealed that Rashford is one of five senior players to inform the club of their desire to leave this summer.
Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho are said to have also made their desire to explore new opportunities clear. United state that they have allowed the five outcasts to delay their pre-season returns until later in July so that they can find new clubs.
But the 20-time English champions will welcome them back to Carrington if they are unable to seal exits.
It's claimed that United have made their medical and rehabilitation facilities at the training ground available to the group, should they wish to use them in the coming weeks.
Rashford's representatives were told in advance of United's decision to hand over his No. 10 shirt to Cunha, who joined in June.
The Brazilian forward completed a £62.5million switch from Wolves early in the summer transfer window, upgrading Ruben Amorim's faltering attack.
