Manchester United are bracing themselves to make some significant sales as five of their stars request to be listed to leave the club.
At the start of the summer it was looking that as many as 14 players were set to leave Old Trafford this transfer season, with a couple already gone.
Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have departed as their contracts have come to an end, whilst Jonny Evans has hung up his boots to become the head of loans and development at the club.
However, the club need to make some major sales to be able to make new signings if they hope to bounce back next season.
Now, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia have all told Manchester United they no longer want to remain at the club and want to be sold this summer.

The news comes from Rich Fay, with Fabrizio Romano also reporting the same, confirming the situation.
It’s understood that the five wantaways have had their return date to Carrington delayed to prioritise exploring exits this summer.
The Red Devils won’t feel a massive impact from these requests, as none of the five were expected to feature this season, with Rashford, Malacia, Antony and Sancho having all been on loan last season, and Garnacho having a public bust up with Ruben Amorim.

As such, all five were already considered priority sales for the summer transfer window, making an exit much easier on mutual terms.
Earlier it was reported that Rashford could have an opportunity to be reintegrated into the squad with him planning to give 100% to the pre-season training.
However, recent news of Matheus Cunha being handed his number 10 shirt have well and truly put an end to Rashford’s United career.
