Ben Chilwell could soon appear on Leeds United’s radar this summer after Chelsea’s proposal.
It was revealed to LeedsUnited.News that Chilwell has been offered to Leeds.
Now, it’s up to Daniel Farke and the 49ers as to whether they pursue the left-back for a transfer this summer.
The 28-year-old’s wages might appear as an issue with the Blues needing to offload him this window.
Leeds could choose to take on the Premier League experience of Chilwell, but might second-guess this after what he said about Elland Road.

Ben Chilwell’s harsh criticism of Leeds United stadium Elland Road
The left-back has fallen off a cliff when it comes to reaching his potential.
At one stage, it was seen that Chilwell was the ‘best in the world’, but injuries at Chelsea after his £45m move from Leicester have hindered him.
But there are clearly signs that he can get back to that level, as Chilwell would suit Farke’s style with his attacking threat.

Although he could be what Farke is looking for now Junior Firpo is gone, he might not want to return to Elland Road after his previous comments.
Speaking to BT Sport after Leeds drew with 0-0 Chelsea in the 20/21 season, Chilwell said “I think coming into the game, people would have predicted goals and the way Leeds play is pretty free flowing.”
“It wasn’t the best pitch for both teams to play on and we are going to come away disappointed that we didn’t get the win.”

If Chilwell takes pay-cut Leeds should definitely sign him
With Leeds being presented the chance to sign the Chelsea defender it does come with promise.
If you told a Whites fan they could sign Chilwell four years ago, it would’ve been seen as absurd, which proves the level he could reach with a move to Yorkshire.
His potential is still there, but the only concern is Chilwell’s incredible £225k-a-week wage, to put that in the perspective of the Whites, Patrick Bamford is Leeds’ highest earner with a wage of £70k-a-week.
If the left-back was willing to cut this down for Leeds, then there shouldn’t be any reason why Farke shouldn’t look to secure his signature, as it will be clear he’s playing for the love of the game.
