Al Horford has been in the NBA for 18 years, but he isn’t done yet.
The Boston Celtics star has recently been the center of a lot of attention, with people speculating where he will play next season.
Marc Stein reported on the hunt for Horford and said it’s expected that he will sign with the Golden State Warriors soon.
“All signs, for the record, continue to point to Al Horford landing with Golden State … eventually. Sunday will be the first day of the 2025-26 salary cap year that NBA teams can make most free agent signings and trades official,” wrote Stein, via NBACentral.

Last season, Horford posted 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 42.3 percent from the field.
He participated in 60 games and hasn’t played more than 70 in the last seven years.
Horford might be aging and injuries might be more frequent, but he is still a supremely talented and smart center.
He could provide a lot of assistance for the Warriors, even if they won’t have him for a very long time.
Retirement might be around the corner for Horford, but he will continue to play hard until then.
If the Warriors are able to get a good deal that is affordable, this could be one of the biggest steals of the summer.
Golden State surely has other plans, too, and Horford wouldn’t be the only acquisition they aim for.
This could just be the start of a very busy period for the Warriors.
During his career, Horford has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Celtics.
Is he now heading to the West Coast?
