Crystal Palace have tabled an offer to Ajax to sign defender Borna Sosa, according to David Ornstein.
The Eagles are in the market to strengthen their squad for Oliver Glasner this summer after winning the FA Cup and qualifying for European football for the first time in their history.
Left-back is a position they are keen to bolster to provide competition for first-choice option Tyrick Mitchell, and they have now made their move for a top target.

Sosa, who has been described as 'sensational', was a key member of the Torino squad in 2024/25 in Serie A as he spent the season on loan there after falling out of favour at the Johan Cruyff ArenA under Francesco Farioli.
Palace are keen to add a new left-wing-back option to their squad following Ben Chilwell's loan move from Chelsea, which has now come to an end after the south London side opted against making the deal permanent as he made just one start and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League following his January arrival.
Now Sosa has emerged as a top target, with a formal offer being received by Ajax, and talks are ongoing between all parties to find an agreement.
The 27-year-old Croatia international has other options too, and Palace are yet to find an agreement with Ajax. Palace also have other options they are considering for the position if they're unable to strike a deal.
Kyle Walker-Peters has also been linked with a move to Selhurst Park, and is now a free agent after leaving Southampton at the end of his contract this week.
