Tottenham and Arsenal are two of the greatest rivals in the Premier League, and often, this rivalry goes beyond the pitch.
Indeed, Spurs and Arsenal often do battle over the same transfer targets.
Arsenal wanted Dominic Solanke at one point last summer, but Solanke ended up at Tottenham, while Tottenham were keen on Gabriel Jesus before the Brazilian ended up at Arsenal.
Now, another interesting transfer battle may be about to ensue.
Tottenham have bid for Mohammed Kudus this week, but according to Dean Jones, writing on the Ranks FC Ultras Patreon page, Arsenal may get involved in the race to sign Mohammed Kudus in the near future.

Arsenal could enter Mohammed Kudus mix
Jones spoke about Kudus and what could happen in the coming days and weeks.
According to the journalist, there’s a chance that Arsenal get involved in this race, claiming that West Ham would welcome a bidding war.
On top of that, Jones says Kudus could cost around £65m, while Chelsea may also get involved.
“I do think there is a chance Arsenal also touch base with West Ham about Mohammed Kudus,” Jones wrote.
“The Hammers would welcome some competition for him, at a time when Tottenham are struggling to find the will to make a bid for the player that is close to his valuation.
“His release clause is £85million but his actual market value is probably more like £60-65million.
“It could even become a three-way London battle for him in the end, as Chelsea are definitely interested and made a cheeky player-swap offer to sign him right at the beginning of the window.”
Mohammed Kudus compared to Ethan Nwaneri
Arsenal could join the Kudus race, and that is a concern for Ethan Nwaneri.
Indeed, Kudus’ two best positions are down the right wing and in the number 10 spot, two roles that Nwaneri will be looking to play in next season.
Nwaneri could leave Arsenal if he doesn’t get the right gametime this term, and when you look at the stats, you have to ponder whether it’s worth Arsenal spending £65m on Kudus rather than giving Nwaneri more of a chance.

2604 Minutes 892
5 Goals 4
3 Assists 2
326 Minutes per goal contribution 149
In terms of minutes per goal contribution, Nwaneri has been outperforming Kudus – albeit he’s been in a better team.
At the age of just 18, Nwaneri has loads of room to grow and improve, and perhaps that’s something Arsenal should be harnessing rather than looking to add a player like Kudus and blocking the youngster’s pathway.
