Crystal Palace have been made aware of Arsenal’s interest in Eberechi Eze, with the player open to the move, but they currently want his release clause paid in full.

Eberechi Eze is closing in on a return to training with Crystal Palace, having made his way back from his holidays in Spain earlier this week.
But Arsenal have made the England international a summer target, and ideally they’d like to bring him into their own pre-season preparations.
Sami Mokbel reports for the BBC that Palace representatives have been made aware of Arsenal’s interest in Eze, but they’re currently insisting they’ll demand his full £60m release clause plus £8m in potential add-ons.

Mokbel adds that Eze is open to the move, and it’s not impossible Palace’s stance might soften later in the transfer window.
After all, David Ornstein recently reported that no other club is as interested in Eze as Arsenal at this stage. If the Gunners remain unopposed as the window drags on, and if the player remains keen on the transfer, Palace might become more willing to compromise.
Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal have started discussing the conditions of a summer deal, with Eze opening the door and attracted by the opportunity to return to the Gunners – having played for the club’s academy as a child.

Hand of Arsenal reports that Mikel Arteta has personally taken a role in recent conversations with Eze, though there’s no confirmation of an agreement on personal terms just yet.
A deal seems to be on, but it’s going to require a lot of patience for Arsenal to reach an agreement they’re happy with.
