Manchester United
While Arsenal are clear favourites for Gyokeres, with the striker himself is believed to prefer a move to North London.
Manchester United are not completely out of the picture just yet.
Gyokeres is understood to be a dream target for new United manager Ruben Amorim, having thrived under him at Sporting CP.
The Swedish forward knows the system inside out and could hit the ground running under Amorim’s familiar setup.
Stylistically, he would be an excellent fit alongside Matheus Cunha.
As Cunha drifts between the lines, Gyokeres’ powerful running into the left channel would stretch defences, get United up the pitch quickly, and bring much-needed physicality to the frontline.
However, several factors complicate United’s pursuit.
Most notably, the player’s preference for Arsenal may raise questions over motivation – does Gyokeres truly want the move to Old Trafford?
Add to that the financial aspect.
Sporting are demanding close to €70 million, forcing Manchester United to seriously consider whether investing such a fee is truly worth it.
Especially for a player who may not be fully sold on the project and could take time to adapt to the Premier League.

With goals a clear priority, reports in Italy suggest the club are ready to table a sizeable bid for the Swedish forward, viewing him as a potential focal point for their new-look side.
However, despite that interest, no official offer has been made – and it may stay that way.

Which could effectively end their pursuit of Gyokeres.
On top of that, the striker seems to favour a move to the Premier League.
This makes switch to Turin less likely unless things change dramatically.
Liverpool
Liverpool are also keeping an eye on the striker market as they prepare to regain the Premier League.
While the squad is packed with attacking quality, the No.9 role remains a slight weak point.
Particularly with reports suggesting Darwin Nunez could be on his way out.
As a result, Liverpool have made contact with Viktor Gyokeres’ camp to explore the conditions of a potential deal.
However, despite the initial contact, Liverpool appear to be prioritising other attacking options at this stage.
Unless their plans change, Gyokeres now looks more likely to end up at Arsenal or Manchester United this summer.
