Grizzlies Summer League Schedule
WILMINGTON, North Carolina — UNCW guard Bo Montgomery will begin his professional career with his hometown Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association after signing a deal for the 2025 NBA Summer League.
The Grizzlies announced their 19-player roster, including Montgomery, on Friday for the 2025 Salt Lake City Summer League in Utah (July 5-7) and the NBA 2K26 Summer League 2025 in Las Vegas (July 10-20).
The Grizzlies start their summer play with three games in the 2025 Salt Lake City Summer League, held at the University of Utah's Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, tipping off against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, July 5, at 7 p.m. (all times Eastern). The Grizzlies will play the Utah Jazz on Monday, July 7, at 9 p.m. and the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, July 8, at 7 p.m.
The Grizzlies open their NBA2K26 Summer League 2025 schedule in Las Vegas against the Boston Celtics at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at the Pavilion on campus at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Games will be aired on either ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+ and ESPN3) or NBA TV. Every game will also be available on the ESPN App.
Montgomery, who will wear No. 7 in the NBA Summer League, made 18 starts and appeared in all 35 games in 2024-25 with the Seahawks, who captured their league-record seventh Coastal Athletic Association Tournament Championship and made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2017.
Montgomery averaged 9.1 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 36.1 percent from three-point range across 22.5 mpg. The Holy Cross transfer also totaled 29 steals, 10 blocks and produced 13 double-digit scoring efforts last season.
The 6-5, 205-pound Montgomery was inserted into the starting lineup for good in a Jan. 16 win vs. Northeastern, which kickstarted UNCW's season-long nine-game win streak. He helped the Seahawks to a three-win week during that stretch, including a career-high 24 points against William & Mary on his way to earning the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week and CAA Player of the Week honors.
The Memphis. Tenn., product reached double figures in four of the season's final five games highlighted by 13 points in the CAA Championship Game victory over Delaware and 10 markers in the NCAA First Round vs. nationally-ranked Texas Tech. The scoring stretch also featured an 18-point, eight-rebound effort to open the CAA Tournament against Hampton.
Montgomery, who totaled 1,293 career points and nearly 500 career rebounds, continues a run of NBA association for former Seahawks this decade after luminaries Devontae Cacok won an NBA Championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and Jaylen Sims became the fourth Seahawk to play in the NBA with his hometown Charlotte Hornets in April.
