Mike Tomlin’s wife, Kiya, wins major Pittsburgh award for career achievement

Kiya Tomlin, the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, has been recognized as one of the top designers and businesswomen in Pittsburgh over the last two decades.

The Pittsburgh Magazine named Tomlin the winner of the 2025 Best Women’s Clothing Boutique. She initially started creating designs from her home studio and quickly rose to prominence in Pittsburgh’s design scene.

In a statement following the win, Tomlin thanked everyone for their support throughout the process of building her reputation in the city.

“Every Kiya Tomlin piece is designed to move with you — not just physically, but through every chapter of your day. We are more than clothing. We are a mindset, rooted in confidence, curiosity, and living with intention. Thank you for being on this journey with us and for supporting a brand that believes women should feel strong, seen, and unstoppable in what they wear. This recognition is a reflection of you,” the statement read on her Instagram.

The boutique’s headquarters are located in Etna. That is where Tomlin has taken her business, which she started from her own home, and scaled it to become an online store and a local boutique. In 2018, she closed her shop in East Liberty and the factory in Homewood, consolidating everything into a single location in Etna.

The award represents over a decade of work for Tomlin, who now has an entire brand known as ‘Kiya Tomlin Fashion’ that thrives as one of the most highly successful boutiques in the city.
