Manchester United's players will return to Carrington on Monday for the start of pre-season as full focus returns to the day job for the squad.

By the time the senior squad return to the training ground, they will be less than two weeks away from their first fixture of pre-season - a clash with in Stockholm. A friendly in all but the nature of the fixture as these two teams both prepare for an interesting campaign.

From perspective, they will be hoping to enter the game with plenty of changes to their squad or at least be in a position to make those deals possible before flying out to the United States for the Premier League Series. With this in mind, MEN Sport has taken a look at the seven transfers United will be hoping to complete before they travel to Sweden.

Outs

Following the news that the Manchester Evening News reported on Friday afternoon, United will be hoping to complete five sales before facing Daniel Farke's men. Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford represent opportunities for the Reds to make pure profit.

Between the pair of them, United will be hoping to drum up approximately £100m from their sales and that should put them in a fine position to reinvest in their squad. Antony and Jadon Sancho will likely bring in less and a combined £50m for them is perhaps the maximum they can expect.

Neither man seems right for United and system so the sooner they are sold the better. It was also no surprise to see that Tyrell Malacia has requested a transfer this summer.

You have to feel for the full-back who never got to feature prominently for the manager who signed him. Perhaps a reunion with at Bayer Leverkusen could be in his future.

Ins

If United are to make the above sales, bringing in two transfers before the Leeds game would be ideal. First port of call would be to ensure that Bryan Mbeumo becomes a player.

The Reds have had two bids rejected and they will be keen to ensure that there is no further hold-ups in their pursuit of the Cameroonian this summer. Secondly, a striker would be a welcome addition to the squad before they face Leeds.

Ollie Watkins or Ivan Toney seems the most realistic new signings at this stage. Currently, you would imagine United would only sign one of them if they get the choice before focusing their efforts elsewhere.

In a dream world, United would have a proven Premier League striker in their squad before July 19.

United's dream squad vs Leeds: Bayindir, Heaton, Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Dorgu, Yoro, Dalot, Shaw, Heaven, Amass, Fredricson, Leon; Mount, Fernandes, Casemiro, Ugarte, Mainoo, Collyer, Cunha, Mbeumo; Hojlund, Zirkzee, Amad, Obi, Watkins/Toney
