Transfer talk: Noni Madueke and Rodrygo are both on Arsenal’s radar, as well as Viktor Gyokeres
Some major moves are in the works as the second summer transfer window continues to heat up. Noni Madueke looks to be willing to swap Chelsea for Arsenal, who have also been boosted in their pursuit of Rodrygo at Real Madrid. Mikel Arteta also appears to have set a final deadline over Viktor Gyokeres, with the Gunners also looking at Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins, plus the likes of Eberechi Eze and Anthony Gordon.
Chelsea are said to be in talks over a shock swoop for Tyler Dibling as Jamie Gittens prepares to seal his switch to Stamford Bridge, while they could yet hijack Tottenham’s pursuit of West Ham star Mohammed Kudus. Manchester United may have got the green light to sign Victor Osimhen as they look to finally clinch the arrival of Bryan Mbeumo.
Barcelona could sign Marcus Rashford after missing out on Nico Williams, while Spurs are once again being linked with Jack Grealish at Manchester City as Newcastle close in on a deal for Anthony Elanga. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!
The Gunners want to sign the England winger from Chelsea this summer and were rumoured to have submitted a first official bid for his services earlier this week.
It would be a surprise if Madueke were to leave Chelsea given his important role last season, though the Blues have multiple wide options now with the signings of Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, plus rumoured interest in Mohammed Kudus.
According to The Guardian, Madueke is open to following former Chelsea team-mate Kepa Arrizabalaga to Arsenal in this transfer window.
They could get a deal done for around £40m, though it is said Chelsea want £50m ideally with interest from other Premier League clubs.

The two clubs reportedly disagree as to the player’s valuation, with Stuttgart holding out for around £70m, whereas Bayern are only keen to pay around £43m.
Leeds have reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin after his Everton contract expired.
TalkSport report that the two parties were in talks, but that the player asked for too much money.
But Sky Germany add that he has also received offers from the Bundesliga as he chases the opportunity to play European football, though the report did not name any specific clubs.
Remember the name Tino Anjorin? The former Chelsea academy starlet has signed for Torino from Empoli on loan with an obligation to buy, subject to conditions.
Anjorin left Chelsea in 2024 with just five senior appearances under his belt, but served loans with Lokomotiv Moscow, Huddersfield Town, and Portsmouth.
He then joined Serie A side Empoli, making 22 league appearances as the Azzurri were relegated, but he has made the step back up to the top flight with Torino.
The 18-year-old has understandably caught the eye of a huge range of clubs after making his Premier League debut at just 15 years old.
Now in the last year of his contract, Liverpool were rumoured to be interested in a move, though the player is thought to be keen on staying at the Emirates.
The Crystal Palace star has drawn interest from a range of clubs after leading the Eagles to FA Cup glory last season, with Arsenal thought to be a likely destination.
Eze, whose release clause is worth around £68m, hopes to represent the club he supported as a child.
According to TalkSport, Mikel Arteta is ‘desperate’ to hold on to the player, but they could still be tempted by the sums on offer.
The deal, should it go through, will more than double Arsenal’s record sale, set when they sold Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool in 2017 for £35m.
