PSG winger Bradley Barcola has been at the center of summer transfer speculation, with reported interest from Bayern Munich and, more recently, Arsenal. Still, one journalist has played down the rumors, saying there’s no real movement toward a dealat this stage.
The Parisian’s depth has naturally led to intensecompetition for minutes, pushing some players to consider options elsewhere. Barcola has been fighting for playing time alongside Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, which has helped fuel the exit talk.
Football Insider’s Mick Brown reports that Arsenal are exploring several candidates for the role, and Barcola is among thosebeing considered.
“Arsenal want to replace Gabriel Martinelli,”Brown told Football Insider. “They’ve been looking at a few options for that positions, some big-name players are on their list, and I hear Bradley Barcola is one of those. He’s a very talented player, he’s got undoubted quality, but he’s not nailed-on at PSG.”

Amid the transfer rumors, manager Luis Enrique set the record straight while speaking to the media on Friday before the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinal match against Bayern Munich.
“Who knows what might happen during the transfer window? But it’s clear that we’ve taken a gamble with our young players,” Enrique said (h/tParis Fans). “Some of them are French, and Barcola was decisive and a key figure throughout the season. He was heavily criticized, as were the other young players, but it’s part of a personal growth process. I hope thatcan continue at PSG for many years.”
Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently said onThe Here We Go Podcast that president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has personally intervened to block Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Barcola, making a transfer seem highly unlikely.
