Everton are ready to announce themselves on the transfer stage after weeks of no real movement on Merseyside.
The Friedkins are ready to back David Moyes, with a big-money move to sign Thierno Barry from Villareal now advancing towards the finish line.
That may not be on the only new transfer coming within days though, with Nicolas Tagliafico apparently next in line at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton advance Taglifico transfer agreement
Tagliafico, now a free agent, is said to be very close to joining the Toffees.
Fichajes has reported on its website that Everton have positioned themselves strongly to upgrade a vital area of their squad around Vitalii Mykolenko.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
With negotiations said to be advancing, it has not been ruled out that the Agentina international and World Cup winner could join within days.
After spells with Lyon and Ajax, the Premier League is said to be an attractive next step for the 32-year-old, who has a strong bid on the table.

Everton rebuild underway with Tagliafico
Not many around Europe will experience the level of turnaround than Moyes and the Toffees face, after some huge departures at the end of June.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ashley Young headed a long list of those leaving once their contracts expired and they will need to be replaced.
Tagliafico could step immediately into the role of Young, and the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium will be critical in persuading these big names to sign on the dotted line.
Everton are less than two months from starting the season at Elland Road against Leeds on 18 August, and kickstarting that countdown with signings like Tagliafico and Barry will be amazing.
Things move quickly in the transfer window, and the Friedkins will need to be alert to developments such as these, with free signings potentially opening the door to spend big elsewhere.
Hopefully, this can be finalised and announced within a matter of days.
