Pereira ‘100% open to leaving Fulham’ to win trophies

Andreas Pereira remains ‘100 per cent open to leaving Fulham this summer’ so he can compete for trophies, according to reports from Brazil.

The Brazilian international’s representatives have told [Jorge Nicola](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9toJbw9n_90&ab_channel=CanaldoNicola) that the 28 year-old, who turned down a contract extension offer from the Whites last year, is ready to leave Craven Cottage if he can remain in Europe and ‘challenge for titles’. The former Manchester United midfielder’s agency have confirmed that there are no current negotiations with Palmeiras and Flamengo, who remain keen on taking Pereira home, but did not deny that their client wants to leave SW6.

Pereira angered Marco Silva and Fulham by openly discussing a move away from the Cottage last term and the Premier League club alerted potential suitors in March that the playmaker, previously an integral part of Silva’s side, would be up for sale this summer. Atletico Madrid and Marseille, whom Pereira expressed an interest in playing for last autumn, are still interested in signing the attacking midfielder but it remains to be seen whether they would pay Fulham’s £15m asking price.

Pereira has made 119 appearances – scoring nineteen goals – since signing for Fulham for £10m in July 2022. He has less than twelve months left on his current deal, with the Cottagers holding an option for a further year – which they are not expected to activate.
