Inter Milan have confirmed the arrival of French striker Ange-Yoan Bonny who arrives at the San Siro following a stint with Parma.
The 21-year-old is seen as a promising prospect by the Italian giants who have managed to commit him to a five-year deal. In his first ever season in a major league, Bonny scored six goals as Parma finished 16th - just above the relegation zone.
However, his age has led Inter to take a punt on him as they look to strengthen up their attack for another push towards the Serie A title next season. The arrival of Bonny comes as the Milan club continue to be heavily linked with Manchester United star Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
During the final international break of the 2024/2025 season, Hojlund told media that he expects to be at United next season and he should arrive at Carrington on Monday (July 7) for the start of pre-season. However, reports in Italy suggest that Inter have made the Dane a key target for the summer.
Hojlund remains popular in Italy having performed well for Atalanta prior to joining United. Should the Reds agree to a sale, it is understood that they would wish for a £52million transfer fee to be paid to allow him to leave.
Recently, The Athletic reported that should United manage to sell Hojlund to Inter - or another club - this summer for their ideal price, this could spark a domino effect resulting in them approaching Aston Villa for Ollie Watkins. The 29-year-old is thought to be open to the idea of leaving the west Midlands this summer, and would arrive in Manchester with much-needed Premier League pedigree.
Watkins has scored double figures in each of his five campaigns in the Premier League. Due to his contract running until 2028, it's thought Villa would demand around £60million in negotiations.
