Alan Myers shares what he’s heard about Jack Harrison re-joining Everton this summer

Everton have been keen to keep some familiar faces around this summer despite their expiring contracts.

David Moyes has been able to retain two of the players who have found themselves involved in a contract saga.

Michael Keane has just signed his Everton contract to keep him around for the 2025/26 campaign, as well as Seamus Coleman.

And there could be even more sticking around as Everton hold talks with Idrissa Gana Gueye.

However, Everton have also lost a number of players at the end of their loan deals, with players like Armando Broja returning to their parent clubs.

Jack Harrison returned to Leeds United after spending two years on loan with the Toffees, there are now suggestions he could return for another stint.

Everton could make Jack Harrison swoop again

It is believed Moyes would welcome Harrison back to Everton this summer, despite his struggles in front of goal last season.

Considering the winger was only able to return one goal throughout the 2024/25 Premier League term, this would be a real shock of a transfer.

Taking to social media, Alan Myers has shared his understanding on the speculation surrounding a return for Harrison.

“Not sure tbh, there was some talk of it at the end of his loan but not heard anything personally since,” Myers said on the Harrison suggestions.

A lot of Everton fans would not like to see Harrison return over the coming weeks, as this summer offers the club a fresh start.

Everton want to make attacking additions in the transfer window, but there will be questions asked if Harrison does return.

Jack Harrison working hard this summer

With his future up in the air, Harrison has been working hard on his fitness in the warm weather.

Carlos Alcaraz was spotted with Harrison after the pair formed a strong bond during their time on Tyneside.

Everton need a lot of additions this summer and Harrison is certainly someone who could slot straight back into the fold.

But Everton also need to improve the quality of their attacking options, and Harrison has failed to show much attacking threat over the last two seasons.
