Arsenal are leading the race to sign Real Madrid superstar winger Rodrygo this summer, journalist Graeme Bailey has revealed.
The Gunners are reportedly in ‘pole position’ to secure the Brazil international’s signature in the coming weeks, as sporting director Andrea Berta has been in ‘constant contact’ with his representatives throughout the summer.
Rodrygo is likely to communicate his desire to leave Real Madrid after the Club World Cup and will look to sort out his future as soon as the tournament in the United States concludes.
His representatives are believed to be actively working on his next move, and there is a belief his departure from Real could cost as much as £75m this summer.

According to Bailey, Arsenal have earmarked Rodrygo as their ‘dream’ target for the summer transfer window, despite also doing homework on other alternatives.
The Gunners are believed to be exploring deals for Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, although their main focus remains on pursuing the Real Madrid star.
Rodrygo, whose wage demands reportedly stand at around £250,000 per week, is facing tough competition for minutes in Real’s squad next season, as manager Xabi Alonso rates youngsters Endrick and Arda Guler highly.
The Brazilian forward made 51 appearances for the Spanish giants last season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists across all competitions.
Arsenal’s summer business has picked up pace in recent days, with Kepa Arrizabalaga announced as their first signing and deals for Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard close to completion.
The Gunners also remain in talks for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera after seeing their initial bid rejected.
