It's the biggest story of July 4th weekend in Philadelphia — that's right, the Sixers are starting their Summer League action. Beginning in Utah before they get things rolling for the full slate in Las Vegas, it will be our first look at VJ Edgecombe and Johni Broome in Sixers uniforms, with some exciting return appearances for the holdovers.
I will not be watching Saturday night's showdown between Edgecombe and Ace Bailey at the time it airs, because family time takes precedent over midsummer basketball.
