Weah has already rejected a move to Nottingham Forest, with Bournemouth and Everton having shown an interest in bringing the 25-year-old to the Premier League. Italian press last week reported Leeds had made an official enquiry to Juventus with the club interested in holding talks regarding a switch to Elland Road for Weah.
However, LeedsLive's information is those reports may have gone too far with their reading of the situation. regardless, should Leeds maintain an interest in the forward then an imminent move could be wise with Marseille said to be closing in.
