U.S. women's national team midfielder Korbin Albert and Indianapolis Colts kicker Spencer Shrader have announced their engagement.
The pair posted a series of photos on Instagram Saturday, with Shrader using a caption from a Walt Whitman poem.
"Will you come travel with me? Shall we stick by each other for as long as we live?" Shrader wrote.
Albert and Shrader briefly attended Notre Dame at the same time before Albert left in January 2023 to join Paris Saint-Germain.
On Friday, OL Lyonnes announced it had signed Albert on a three-year contract after the midfielder left PSG on a free transfer.

Albert has earned 25 caps for the USWNT, tallying a match-winning assist in last summer's Olympic gold medal game against Brazil.
The 21-year-old also courted controversy last year when several of her anti-LGBTQ+ social media posts came to light, forcing her to apologize.
Shrader went unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft, but still played for three teams in the 2024 season. He began with the Colts, then played for the New York Jets and finally the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 26-year-old played in four combined games for the three teams, going 5-of-5 field goals and 9-of-9 on extra points. Shrader signed with the Colts as a free agent in March.
