Swansea City officially sign ex-Manchester United player

The list of ex-Manchester United players that have been transferred to other clubs both in England and abroad is increasing by the day.

In England, Swansea City have been preparing for the 2025-26 season through their summer transfer window that has seen them sign several players.

The Swans, who finished 11th last campaign, will be aiming to push further up the table and towards the playoffs next season.

One of the players that Swansea City have been targeting is former Manchester United midfielder Ethan Galbraith.

The versatile player impressed at Leyton Orient last season.

The O’s finished 6th in EFL League One but were unable to gain promotion to the EFL Championship.

This is due to their play-off final lost to Charlton Athletic in May.

During the 2024-25 season, Ethan Galbraith was able to score on six occasions whilst also matching this figure in his assist numbers.

He was also impressive in many elements of his gameplay.

One of these is his statistics on the ball.

Last season, the player was able to create 46 chances and completed 19 successful crosses.

Furthermore, he was execute 29 successful dribbles and was able to pass the ball on 1257 occasions.

This shows that when he has the ball, he is able to do more than just carry the ball.

Instead, he is able to create a positive impact and is able to be dangerous for his team.

This ability, alongside his natural talent, had attracted interest from several clubs including Huddersfield Town and Swansea City.

However, now, it has been officially revealed that Swansea City have won the battle for the 24 year old.

The right-back will now make the step up to the EFL Championship where he will be able to develop his abilities even more.

However, time will tell in his quest for successful in the English second tier.
