Aston Villa are facing a difficult summer, but have finally found a solution to their Philippe Coutinho dilemma.
Monchi and Unai Emery will have to operate with caution in the transfer market due to the financial concerns that are still plaguing the Villans.
Coutinho spent a recent season on loan with Al-Duhail before joining Vasco De Gama for the 2024-25 campaign in another temporary deal.
The Brazilian has featured just 43 times for the Villa Park outfit, notching six goals and three assists since his 2022 loan move that was made permanent a year later.

Aston Villa finally get rid of Coutinho
Villa have finally agreed to terminate Coutinho’s contract, and he has now completed a permanent move to the Brazilian outfit, where it all began for him.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that the move is great for the Villans as they are facing a difficult summer, with what he has heard about their budget.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, he said: “Yeah, if they can turn Philippe Coutinho into some cash coming through the door.
“My understanding is that Villa might be on a bit of a shoestring budget. I think they have lost around £200million in the last couple of years.
“They have had some costly loans, like Rashford and Asensio, so there might not be as much spending power as you might have imagined.
“They have also got to bear in mind that they do not have Champions League income this time, they only have Europa League.
*“Coutinho is now a light of former days. In his time, he was a terrific player, transferred for a fortune to Barcelona, but it did not work out, and it hasn’t worked for him since then.*“

Coutinho money should help Villa
Given their Profit and Sustainability concerns, which may force them to sell the likes of Jacob Ramsey and Morgan Rogers, it makes sense to get Coutinho’s wages off the books.
The former Brazil international was understood to be on around £6.5million per year in B6, and slashing that will be more crucial than any transfer fee that they could have gotten.
Ultimately, Villa did not want to keep him around, so releasing him from his contract was a no-brainer for all parties.
