Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is ‘waiting’ to join Barcelona this summer, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The England international reportedly has his sights set on a move to the Nou Camp in the coming months and would ‘love’ to be a Barcelona player next season.
Rashford has no future at Man United after falling out with manager Ruben Amorim, and is believed to have handed in a transfer request following his return from loan at Aston Villa.
Barcelona are believed to have placed the 27-year-old on their winger shortlist, which also includes Liverpool ace Luis Diaz.

Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, revealed that Rashford would love to play in Spain next season and is waiting for Barcelona to make a move:
“Marcus Rashford is basically waiting for options, including Barcelona. Rashford would love to go to Barcelona. Rashford would love to play in Spain. Would love to be a Barca player. Would love to play with Barca players. So Rashford is basically waiting for this option.
“He also has more possibilities, but I expect Barca to try for Luis Diaz again, and then also to have Marcus Rashford as part of the shortlist already since the January transfer window, so Barcelona will now reassess their plans.”
Rashford is one of four Man United forwards expected to depart in the coming months, alongside Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony.
However, the quartet have yet to attract any concrete offers, which could complicate United’s further summer business, with no additional transfer funds brought in so far.
United welcomed Matheus Cunha as their first summer signing last month and continue to work on a deal for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.
The Red Devils are reportedly preparing to make their final offer for the Cameroonian in the coming days, after seeing their first two bids rejected.
